Rocklin clinched at least a share of the SFL title with a 1-0 win over Granite Bay. It was Logan Webb vs. Mitch Hart (6.1 IP, 8 K). Rocklin scored the lone run in the top of the seventh inning.

Tremendous game yesterday. Approximately 20 scouts in attendance to see Mitch Hart and Logan Webb on the mound. First inning, Hart up to 92Mph and Webb hit 96Mph (on about 5 different guns that I saw). Heard Hart touched 95 in the 2nd and Webb was down to about 89mph by the 3rd inning. The lone run was scored by a HBP in the top of the 7th inning. Granite Bay stranded ~9 base runners along the way.
Yes, even heard 97 on a few guns but didn't see for myself. Velo didn't look that high from the stands but hard to say that all the scouts guns were hot. Heard Webb dropped quickly but 96 is 96. He's on the scouts radar now if he wasn't already. His off speed was inconstant and threw a lot of pitches but his FB got him out a lot of jams with not many balls squared up. Hart pitched very well controlling the inner half of the plate but lost control his control in the 7th that led to the HBPs / Run. Hart was only at 79 pitches going into the 7th inning.
