Honestly a little suprised but proximity to family was important factor.
Seems like a pretty lateral move however. But as my buddy said. They are all 1 year deals anyway! Next year most of these kids will be moving on again.

In this case too, he is going to have name recogntiion wherever he goes as far as being a pro prospect. And at Cal he should have the ball in his hands a lot too
Cal has brought in a very nice class of multiples years of eligibility transfers, they are another year away but in 2 years Mad Dog will have a good squad on his hands. There is only 1 Mark Fox player left on the roster
Obviously they have to gel but Cal’s portal class is pretty impressive. I think Madsen will have them in the hunt for a tourney bid next year.
