Heritage scored five runs in the top of the seventh to send the game to extras, but Freedom prevailed with an 8-7 win. Anthony DeVera and Andrew Neil each had two hits for Freedom. For Heritage, Ryan Jackson went 2-for-4 with a triple and two RBI.

Pacific Grove beat Carmel 2-1 behind six innings of one run ball from Hunter Haynes. Carmel, which outhit Pacific Grove 8-3, got five innings of one run ball from Rowan Trosky.

Spencer Kelly threw a complete game two hitter in Drake's 3-0 win over San Marin. Gabe Leary had a home run for Drake. Jack Schmidt had both hits for San Marin.

Cole Murgia had four RBI while Eddie Burns and Michael Castelli combined on a two hitter in Acalanes' 13-0 win over Campolindo.

Washington-Fremont reached the Elite 8 Finals after beating Bishop O'Dowd 5-1.

Roseville sophomore Josh Alger has committed to UCLA.
