It has been a tough few years for West Coast college programs and there was more bad news recently with TJ Bruce stepping down as Nevada's HC to take an assistant role at TCU.

This follows Jay Johnson leaving Arizona for LSU, the issues at UC Davis and USC looking for a new head coach again to name a few.

Johnson leaving U of A was surprising.

Bruce taking a step down in role but a step up in program stature could pay off, probably depends on what he is looking for.

SC is a complete mess. Gill was a total asshole and set the program back. Tulo
backing out and leaving Texas then not taking SC was also surprising and not sure what his long term plans are either.

Stankiwwicz leaving GCU to rebuild SC. Good coach and the move to the BIg10 alone should help them become more competitive quicker.
