Now that Woodland is in it's second year with Coach Chris Smith (whom had a successful stint with Vacaville Christian). They beat American Canyon & Enterprise and now they will face Yuba City. We will soon find out on how they are when they meet Mighty Inderkum, River Valley (also on the rise with Coach Dave Humphers) and Rio Linda too! This is a really heavy Run Based Conference Inderkum running the Wing T? River Valley running the Wing T, Woodland running the Double Wing. Note Woodland will be in DIV next year! This league truly is gonna be won in the trenches! Definitely a slugfest!

Man woodland use to put out real competitive teams I don't know what happened. Newly built schools spreading the talent?

One of their former Qbs became the starting QB for Fresno State awhile back...they nay be one of the top teams in DIV next year and may be on that perch for awhile

Pioneer opening and then losing Mike Gimenez to Whitney in the early to mid 2000s had a lot to do with the downturn.

The TCC is a pretty fun league. Inderkum is clearly the top dog, but there is some depth there too

Joey Montoya of Placer was also at Pioneer too. Woodland reminds me of Vacaville when both Vacaville & Woodland were one high school towns. Now when they finally made Wood a High School and Pioneer opened up that the towns talent went to those respective schools. Wood had a decent run when they had Tim Gali in the late 90's.
