Streak I dont think you are. I've been following the program pretty close for the last 20 + years and they have never been this deep and talented. I've been saying it for awhile but I can't imagine Lyons coming back next year. He will compete day 1 for a starting job in college wherever he goes. LBP may be down but they still have kids with offers and talent all over field. It was so lopsided.Don't want to overreact to one game, but Lyons looks to be the best QB Folsom has had and this looks to be the most physical offensive line they have had.
IMO, Folsom is definitely in the running for Open this year. But the only other gamse that Folsom has coming up is Serra as a bellwether game and, to a lesser extent, Grant.. The playoffs might help with a game with St. Mary's. This would give three games to compare with DLS.Folsom should represent the open this year unless they get hit by a massive upset which I don’t see. DLS is in a really good position to go undefeated and win a D-1AA championship but it’s still very early we’ll have to wait and see.
Definitely looks like teams in SFL are down this year besides Folsom. Make senses since most all the transfers went to 1 team. After seeing CC barely win against PV I wouldn’t be surprised if SM struggles, but I’m keeping my same prediction SM by 17.Going to be interesting this Sat . These guys might have a Squad, don't believe SM has the QB BM has and that might be the wild card . Last season SM I believe won by 1 touchdown and did not have the QB they have today . So should be interesting.
Yeah these big league schedules limits on how you can schedule which leads to less intriguing matchups IMO.Unless I am under-estimating Serra this year, Folsom should win decidedly. Serra might bring a better defense (typically true) to the table than PLB, but I am guessing Folsom will win by 3+ scores. DLS would have provided a much better test this year but they are not playing this year. Loading more teams into the Sierra Foothill league really impacted Folsom's opportunity to schedule better preleague games.

Folsom is so good and deep this year. The transfers (most of them) didn't even play. This is there year and the best team in my opinion Folsom has ever had. I feel bad for the SFL teams this year.
Serra will play a much tougher game than LBP against Folsom though. They won't have the offensive fire power to win however.
My thoughts
SJB
Mater Dei
Centennial/Folsom
Folsom is impressive this year! This is the best team I think Folsom has ever had. The transfers didn't even play last night and it was total domination. Ryder Lyons is so freaking good.
I agree that no NorCal team will stop them this year.Folsoms size really impressed me. They made LB look small. Ryder Lyons is a special player. The athleticism and instincts are tough to stop. I dont see any Norcal team stopping Folsom this year.
Yeah Sharma is an absolute beast. Texas is getting a good one. Hill has SEC offers in addition to a bunch on west coast. Most notably Josiah Sharma (6’5 330 pound Texas commit), Jason Hill (stud transfer from GB) and a few others. Lyons played a bit after he hurt his hand so I doubt he sits out much. They’re so good I could see them winning the rest of their games without him tbh.

Also, heard Lyons hurt his non-throwing hand in the second half. Any details?

Lyons is so big and hard to bring down that it makes Folsoms Running game Elite…. Plus he’s so accurate, he is a special player!….
Folsom looks the part of So Cal D1 top level after this game…. Beating LBP by that kind of score is something the top So Cal teams do and it was a similar score to BG vs LBP last year….
It will be interesting to see how the SJB vs Serra and Folsom vs Serra looks…. If Folsom plays Serra to an equal or better result then SJB, Folsom will be looking at a Top 10 National ranking!,…
I agree. I was very impressed with them on both sides of the ball. Ryder Lyons is the real deal. Don’t see Folsom getting tested until the Open.I really liked what I saw from Folsom…. I really like their Coach!…. Folsom was very diciplined on both offense and defense….
Their running game is so strong that Lyons is going to have wide open receivers all over on play action…. Folsom looks like the type of team that can put up 21 points on MD or SJB and play sound defense….
