Couple things. It was not a rumor the deal has been done for almost a month. They just had logistics to work out before announcing. Two, this is poor job of scheduling in my opinion. They play El Cerrito on a Friday then eleven days later play London on Tuesday then head back and play San Ramon ten days later. Great experience for the boys but a lot traveling for 1 game in 21 days.
Carmel beat Los Gatos 7-3: Junior Jackson Lloyd and sophomore Matt Maxon each had home runs in a seven run fourth inning. Maxon got the start and gave up two runs over 4.2 innings. Los Gatos put 12 runners on base in the loss.
St. Ignatius beat Serra 2-0: Senior Will Siwinski gave up two hits over six innings with six strikeouts and sophomore Archer Horn struck out the side in the seventh inning as the Wildcats knocked out the No. 3 ranked team in NorCal. Senior Evann Smith had two doubles for St. Ignatius. Serra starter Sam Kretsch gave up one run in five innings of work.

That is a tough playoff Bracket!…. Serra plays a Dangerous SI team that has beat both Serra and VC….. Then they would have to play the winner of Los Gatos and Carmel….
I think VC has a better path with ST Francis then the winner of Burlingame vs Mitty….. Will be some great games!….
And it turned out that way Several upsets in today's CCS D1 play.

#6 Carmel beats #3 Los Gatos
#5 Mitty beats #4 Burlingame (ok, that's probably not an upset.)
#1 VC trounces #8 SF 7-0
And my notion that Serra might take the playoff series is baseless. SI is dangerous. Keep going Warriors.
If it will be difficult to enforce..and i dont doubt that THEN it will only be enforced if certain Catholic Shool's violate it as someone will take a video that has a hard-on for the school.
Alec Blair will be a 1st round pick in the 2026 mlb draft. Kid just had tremendous raw power that will be refined by whatever college or mlb team he ends up on.

The one who was penciled in as the starter for the next 3 years. Was brought up to varsity midway through the year. Don't know his name but everyone called him "Hulk"
My point is that if a player captures the audiences interest, even if they are not the best, it helps everyone. It increases viewership. More viewership is more money for everyone. Curry was the favorite around the league. Even if there was another player that was better, people didn't care asmuch about that player as Curry.
