thats the part i dont get. liberty is not good either, they miss the playoffs most years and every time i watch them they look like mediocre trash. they havent beat anyone good since they won state that one time.

that cant be the only reason. on no planet should freedom lose 35-14 to a school like maria carrillo there has to be something fishy going on. we need to get to the bottom of this!

After a couple short runs, 3rd down, 1:10 left.

Run right stopped after a couple, 4th down. Another NG time out to prolong the agony…. Cougs punting.

Punt returned all the way to the Cougs’ 16.

First play, NG scores a passing TD to Blaine Ballard…. 31-21, they’ll go for 2. Run up the middle is successful…. 31-23 Cougs with 46 seconds left…

NG ain’t dead yet, some sort of trick play should be coming….

Nope, they went for it…. QB almost sacked, intentional grounding.

Penalty and loss of down, NG gets it on the 38 yard line.

False start, 5 yard gift…

Pass deflected, but another NG receiver grabs it for a Sportscenter highlight first down!! On Campo 31…

Pass complete, 2nd and 1 on the Campo 22…

QB keeper crunched…. but he made the first down to the 20.

Pass PICKED OFF!!!!

Luke Bonardi gets it to the Campo 10.

Nice return to the 35, NG ball.

Run left gets 2 yards.

Pass up the middle, complete to the Cougs’ 40, 1st down.

Illegal procedure, 1st and 15.

QB scramble, he almost break free, but gains just 3. 2nd and 12.

Pass incomplete.

Next pass is complete, but a nice open-field tackle stops it for a loss. 4th and 19.

Broncos go for it…. Pass incomplete, Cougs ball on their own 49. 7:38 left in this one…

Same play, gets a couple…. First down Cougs on the NG 39.

Pass left. gets about 9.

Parker cuts into a hole, makes the first down…. Fumble but the Cougs leap on it. First down on the NG 25.

Defense offside, 1st and 5 on the 20.

QB sneak gains a first down…

13 yard line, he gains 1 to the 12. Another run gets nothing…. 3rd and 9. End of the 3rd quarter, Cougs are eating clock!

Kick goes thru the end zone, Cougs ball on the 20.

Run left by Parker, he gains a bunch toward the sideline, and the Broncos commit a 15-yard facemask penalty…. Cougs ball on the 50.

Parker runs for 4. 2nd down.

Midirection run gets 5…. 3rd and short. Time out Campo, 3:34 left 3rd.
