Yeah was watching a little of this series. Alot of Northbay connections with Vaughn (Maria Carrillo) Brandon Hyde (Montgomery) and TIm Cossins (Santa Rosa High).Todays starters for Sox @ O’s was a fun matchup: Flexen (NM) and Burnes (SMC.) 1315.2 was a teammate and opponent- former and latter. Not quite like Tellez throwing for the Pirates last week!
Lots of BA connections…
jehovah? hi brotherYes, it's always been a Saturday-after-turkey-day event, but getting a few of the games to Friday would make it easier for just about everybody except Black Friday shoppers.
However, there are probably other issues that I'm not thinking about since I don't do holidays.
Yeah that soft zone was driving me crazy!! Gotta tighten that approach up. I don't gamble and if it do it's with a "fun money" budget. No expectations.craps table was not nice to me.. but i need to learn to walk away. lollll... and SC defense finally tackled well although that soft zone need some work. allegiant stadium set the attendance record and the atmosphere was electric. what a game
Great 1st week analysis FBAddict! We hope to upset a few teams to climb out of that 4th place spot. The various preseason predictions had Serra somewhere between #1 and #3. Based on Friday's performance, Serra probably won't skip a beat and is still the team to best. And it appears Riordan may need some time to get their talent to perform well together. St. Francis is usually good and this year they won't disappoint.
I agree with your new possible ranking. Right now, this is my ranking.
1. Serra - (Their new era system apparently works without lots of proven D1 talent)
2. St. Francis - (Looking to regain their previous clout of being the first NorCal team in the modern era to beat DLS)
3. Riordan - (Their D1 laden team has a lot to prove)
4. St. Ignatius - (Working hard to reclaim the King of SF Football title)
5. Valley Christian - (The old-styled offense doesn't match well with newer systems but their defense keeps the game close)
6. Mitty - (Generally in the middle-of-the-WCAL-pack team that is struggling)
7. Sacred Heart Cathedral - (Has proven they can compete if they have the talent)
7. Bellarmine (Suffering with their school demographics similarly to the two other San Jose schools.)
"IF" Folsom had Sharma I think he would have been a problem for Serra. Otherwise pretty much even.I only saw the 4th quarter of this game, and didn’t see any talent disparity at that time. I did see the boffo onside kick coverage by Folsom that gave Serra the ball back. But I saw Serra running the football very effectively, controlling the quarter, and keeping Lyons in check.Whatever talent advantage Folsom supposedly had, it wasn’t manifesting itself at all
his father made sure he was enrolled in college.Plus McKee we will have a college education to fall back on in the likely event pro basketball doesn’t work out.
Plus McKeever will have a college education to fall back on in the likely event pro basketball doesn’t work out.what i meant was improved in high school where he would be a lottery pick after his freshman year of college. he and jalen pretty much are on the same level at this point but mckee is taller. both were really big and limited athletically very early. the diffference is mckee will learn in college and if jalen goes undrafted he will learn in the pros somewhere.

If you're talking about McKeever, I'd say that's far from correct.
He added more things to his game every year, took a redshirt year, and will start playing at SMC this season, so hasn't had a chance to show what he's got yet. I do know he's a legit 7'2" now, also.
i am pretty certain nov 30 is a saturday this year, and the previous events were held on the saturday after thanksgiving. This event has always been scheduled on Black Friday and has been well attended throughout the years starting at Newark Memorial and now being hosted at Dublin. Dublin is a very nice facility easily accessible for all the NorCal participants and fans.
