Paradise Coach Retires

After 23 years Rick Prinz is stepping down as head football Coach at Paradise H.S. He was owner of several Section Championships.
Paradise is tucked up on a ridge in the hills of Butte County, hiding the fact, the population was close to 29,000 people. That was before the devastating fire. That there is one High School up there, lent a cohesiveness to their program. Kids playing together since Pee Wee. Players would march down long steps right thru the stands to cheering fans. The field is surrounded by tall pines, beautiful surroundings. Grass sod to play on.
He will be missed by many many kids and adults

Here's wishing you great football

Santa Clara Team Camp (St Marys-Stockton v. Mitty)

Good crowd to watch this matchup yesterday at Santa Clara's practice gym, which is an impressive little facility.

It was close for three quarters, with Mitty/Cagers holding a slight lead for most of it. Mitty pulled away in the final few minutes to win by 12ish.

Jordan Lee had some nice finishes for St. Marys. Maya Hernandez was very strong in the high and low post for Mitty.

St Mary's was missing Brooklyn Perry (injury). Mitty was without Morgan Cheli (Cal Stars).
