Serra is 6-3 in the WCAL and ranked #4 in CCS.

Last time they met, Riordan handled business at Serra, winning 65-48.

Earlier, the Serra Freshman B team beat the R frosh by about 6, and right now, the Serra frosh A team is controlling things, up 41-20.

Afer losing to Piedmont last month, Bishop O'Dowd beat Piedmont 69-50 on Wednesday. Nyah Greenwood had 18 points.

Natalia Martinez had 23 points for Piedmont

Zyon Pullin (College Park) is transferring from UC Riverside to Florida. He averaged 18 points, four rebounds and four assists this past season.

Mary Ennis SF St. Ignatius: Much like her older sister Maddie (now at UOP), Mary's energy is what pops out about her game. She is in constant motion on defense and in rebounding. She knocked down a three pointer in the Janaury 30 loss to Sacred Heart Cathedral and made plays in transition.

I want to be the 1st to predict 6 team Norcal/Socal brackets AND with Clovis West staying south.

Of the current MaxPreps top 14 in the state 7 are from the South and 7 are from the North. I think in the past CW was sent North to balance out the talent in the brackets and im not sure that's needed this season.

It seems pretty simple the 6 in the North..

Of course a big upset or 2 in the sections could disrupt my predictions but if form holds true I think I'm spot on.



***on a side note I predict: the 2 v 3 loser in the NCS Open and the 2 v 3 loser in CCS Open will be the top 2 seeds in the D1 Norcals.

Marysville (17-4) upsets Colfax (22-2) at Colfax, in a thriller 38-37. Both are tied in 1st place for league play and split their head-to-head match up games. Division 4

Vista Del Lago (15-8) beats Christian Brothers (19-5) at VDL, 62-50. Both are now tied in 1st place for league play and split their head-to-head match up games. Division 2

Non-league game: St. Mary's (19-5) easily beats Manteca (21-5), 92-34.
