De La Salle 2016 DT Boss Tagaloa has narrowed his list to the following 12 schools:

Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Michigan, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Tennessee, UCLA, Utah and Washington.

UCLA appears to be in a good spot for Tagaloa, which has three SEC schools on his list.

Mountain House from West of Tracy, almost near Brentwood begins Football this 2015 season and will be in the Trans-Valley league....Dougherty Valley will play host to Mountain House on 9-18 and on 9-25, Hercules will travel to MH...What kind of a team is Mountain House, no bodies knows yet, so we have a mystery on our hands....

Looking at the 2018 girls class, I get the feeling it was under scouted. There are no players from the Central Coast. Two from potentially the North Coast but none on the East Bay. Everyone else is from the valley. Are things that weak over here or does it still need to be scouted. Surprised there was no one from Mitty.

The pirates with a 6-5 record for the 2014 season have taken on a real test for their preseason 2015 schedule as they have their hands full.....Foot Hill on the road.....Logan on the road.....Antioch at Home.....Freedom at Home and Liberty on the road....Their current rooster is a mix of Seniors and Juniors and with out a leader like Stephen Johnson, it hard to tell just how well SL will do, but by the end of the preseason, the Pirates should be seasoned veterans.

Nor Cal Juco Jamboree will be held this Thursday and Friday July 9-10 at Skyline College in San Bruno. This is an NCAA certified event (allowing Division I schools to attend) comprised of Northern California junior college teams. The event will run from 12 noon to 8 pm each day.

Hard to watch the "thrilling" Women's World Cup knowing a good California boys hs soccer team would beat these top women's teams. At least we can immerse ourselves in this website instead of watching woemn's World Cup.

I'm surprised to see he's not on the 2016 Top 40 list - he's been one of the top rated bay area guards for the last few years in his class and played at a very high level last year. If he's not on the list, my guess is he has to be in the next few players just off the list. Very good 6'3" Combo Guard that is on the D1 radar.

Ariana Abdulmassih, the sophomore post for Convent of the Sacred Heart, apparently has transferred to St. Ignatius. She was the leading scorer for Convent (17 a game, or something like that) -- wonder if it will be ruled she transferred for athletic purposes.

The sixth annual Nor Cal Summer Tip Off will be held Saturday and Sunday July 11-12 at San Francisco City College. This is an NCAA live period event (Northern California's only one) allowing Division I coaches to attend. The event will run from 8 am to 11 pm on Saturday and 8 am to 5 pm on Sunday. The schedule will be posted at hoopreview.net on Wednesday July 8.

Bishop O'Dowd 2016 LB Camilo Eifler will make his college announcement on Thursday at The Opening. He has narrowed his list to Michigan, Oregon, Cal, Texas A&M, Washington and UCLA.

If I had to make a choice, I would guess Washington is the pick.
