The 2 pm game is the best on paper. Maybe the best team in the north and Roosevelt is very very good.

Really good lineup. Some fun team and player matchups

YV has a 6’10” kid at center McKnight who will be a senior, and their top scorer is 6’3” junior Kellogg. They may or may not get run off the court vs Lincoln, but they’ll be a tough out in NCS D4 this year.

When Nigel Burris left Stuart Hall, same thing happened. Scheduled a game that was supposed to be Isa Silva Vs. Nigel Burris. But it was too late to back out and Jesuit gave us a 20 pt butt whipping.

An impressive ELEVEN players have currently committed to Division I schools that will be participating in the Nor Cal Tip Off Classic on November 25 at Dublin High School. This group is lead by a pair of 2024 standouts from Corona Centennial: Eric Freeny (UCLA) and Carter Bryant (Arizona).

Other Division I commits are all in the 2024 class: Darnez Slater of Roosevelt (Colorado State), Jase Butler of Branson (Illinois), Gavin Ripp of Mitty (San Diego), Tyler Jones of Mitty (UC Riverside), Zion Sensley of Riordan (St. Mary’s), Jordy McKenzie of Riordan (Eastern Washington), Tyler Thompson of Vanden (Montana), Mateen Rafiq of Weston Ranch (Cornell) and Kaia Berridge of Riordan (Evansville).

SoCal teams Roosevelt comes in with a loaded team and is ranked #4 and Corona Centennial is ranked #6 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports
