Just about to go in the first game, Heritage of Brentwood vs. Archie Williams.

Archie is 5-3, Heritage 4-5. Both rated in the low 300’s at the moment…. I’ve seen Heritage play a few times this year; imho, they are quite good for a 4-5 team.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen Archie Williams since they were called Drake.

So far, this game is as tight as advertised, tied at 10.

Archie Williams’ best big man, junior Alex Hamblet, has been in foul trouble most of the way, got his 4th midway thur the 3rd…. When do they bring him back? Answer is right now.

Urban is 8-2 and just beat Marin Catholic at the buzzer a few nights ago.

Monty is 8-3, with losses to Campo and Marin Catholic on their slate.

Quarter ends with a Wilsonburger served by Monty’s Michael Ule, but Urban leads 13-8.

Damn ain’t heard San Marin in years. In 1987 we aka Sacred Heart took a bus to San Marin for a JV basketball game thru an unreal storm. Walked into the gym and the power took a dump. Rough ride back to SH.
