Here is my early list for Player of the Year:

Grace Bliss Colfax
Anya Choice Cardinal Newman
Jzaniya Harriel Antelope
Ashley Hiraki Mitty
Amaya Oliver St. Mary's-Stockton

I know there are good candidates from O'Dowd and St. Joseph, but no clear #1 like some of the other teams.

Despite not scoring a lot, Talana Lepolo of SJND should be on the list, I think.

And Kennedy Johnson of Bishop O'Dowd, who just might make more impact in high school games than most of the others.

i know head to head match ups don't really count. but i was there at the Colfax game vs Alameda at the Tam Tournament, and Lexie Givens played at least equal in Alameda's win vs Colfax. I am not saying Bliss is not deserving or did not a great year, nor am i saying that Lexie Givens is a definite top 5 player in NorCal.

In general, Lexie Givens should get some mention in terms of all norcal or all ncs teams. somewhere.
