Congratulations to all who made the All-NorCal Team. Very proud of the Monterey Trail Mustangs who made the list. Jones and Snipes are outstanding young men who deserve the recognition.

Yeah clearly on another level but in terms of high school season I agree Streak. Just not enough carries and touches. Crazy thing is it didn’t matter for him one bit in terms of next level. Heck probably helped not getting beat up.

I called Lamson all year... people started to listen at the end.

Thanks for recognizing Kyle Christensen of Placer. I'm his mom. It's been such a great 3 years for him and our family. We are going to miss being so directly involved with NorCal prep football. Such a great experience. So grateful for it all!

What about:

Anthony Villegas Palma at RB 190 carries 1841 yards (9.7 yards per carry) 31 TDs in 9 games (average of over 3 TDs a game) and 204 yards a game.

Sainas HS QB Carl Richardson 3277 total yards, 34 TD passes , Y/G 327.7m Cmp 205 Att 288 (71.2% completion) and only 6 Int

Question...how was the defensive MVP of one of the toughest leagues in NorCal (SFL) left completely off this list? Meanwhile, two players from the same league playing the same position make the list? Honestly just wanting to know the thought process/criteria...

Criteria was a combination of stats, all-league/all-area honors and how their play impacted tem success.
Gotcha, I'd encourage you to take a look at Christian Awaad's film and stats from Rocklin High School....All Sac Metro 1st team and Defensive Player of the Year for SFL. Not to take anything away from your list or the players on the list, but he meets the criteria IMO. Thanks for all you do!!

Wait until you see how fun watching your son play at the collegiate level in San Luis Obispo under a brand new coaching staff will be. Watching them in high school is fun but it doesn't compare to watching them in college when everyone on the field is a stud in their own right.

We are looking forward to that!

I went back and forth on Ngata. His talent is among the best, but when looking at his senior year, it wasn't up to the level of the other backs. Mostly due to being banged up this season

IMO too many pundits rely upon reputation and name recognition when formulating these types of lists. It also happens in professional and collegiate sports with MVP, Heisman, All-Pro and All-American teams.

It’s refreshing when someone judges solely by the performances on the field and overall impact during the current season only.

When Minnesota Vikings OL Dru Samia got green fever and bailed on his SRV teammates right before the DLS game and moved to Sacramento to prepare for his time in Norman Oklahoma, he was left off all the Nor Cal 2015 lists despite being one of the most talented OL in Nor Cal.

It worked out for Dru but that was one of the craziest stories I’ve seen
