I don't see HOW she didn't get AP player of the year....simply amazing how west coast players don't get any love. smdh

I just saw that it was not even close - Gustafson received 15 votes, Ionescu seven votes, Collier of UConn three, Durr of Louisville two and McCowan of Mississippi State one. Gustafson averaged 28 points per game and became only the 4th DI player to score more than 1,000 points in a season - two others Stiles and Plum won player of the year honors - the other Odessey Simms from Baylor did not. Gustofson also set a NCAA record with 412 field goals and tied a NCAA record with 33 double-double this season. She shot almost 70% percent from the field this season and nearly 66% for her career. I didn't know much about her but she had a great season/career. I have to believe that Ionescu is the leading candidate for the award next year.

Also Oregon could be the #1 team in the preseason next year
