Both come in to this contest undefeated with 11-0 records respectively. I have Antioch by two points. Something like 37-35. Btw, this is my gotw with Placer and Central Catholic a close second. Elk Grove and Oak Ridge should also be a classic.

Agree its the game to see. Would love to see Nagee Harris take on the Spartan defense in the final but for some reason I see Foothill on top 31-28 .
This coming from the same gene pool that includes the purchase of a Ford Edsel, a Sony Betamax and several Chia-Presidential Bust planters....So Your prediction is probably the safer way.

should be a really fun high scoring game......I see Foothill pulling it out in close one as well but would love to see Harris go off and Antioch win, I would love to see how Harris does against DLS. I see CC dominating Placer, I am not one to see this being a very close game.

I think Antioch wins 35-31 or a closer margin of under 4 points. Players of Najee's caliber can't be kept in check for four quarters at the high school level.

I was at last years Foothill/Antioch game and due to falling way behind early, Harris was pretty much held in check. I see this years game going down to the wire with Antioch winning a close one.

Coaching will be a factor. The QB at Foothill only a sophomore but will probably be the best passer Antioch has seen all year. Foothill is balanced. Don't know much about Antioch other than their RB is a beast.

I thought last year's matchup would be close, but Foothill held Harris completely in check in pounding them 54-8. He was only a sophomore last year, and although both Foothill and Antioch have improved this year, the Panthers have made vast improvements and Harris is looking unstoppable, at least until they face DLS should they win this one. Both teams will score, but the key will be whether the Falcons can keep Harris in check again. I would favor Fothill if this was at their house, but consider it a tossup at Antioch. Should be a good one.

De La Salle would completely shut down Harris if they meet. But I see Foothill out coaching the Antioch staff. Rumor has it that De La Salle offered an ESPN game to Antioch for next year and the Antioch coach turned it down. Odd considering how kids love to transfer. Antioch is all about transfers. They have a kid from Logan that is ineligible for illegal contact.

I think besides the fact that Harris is a year older, Foothill doesn't have Isaiah Langley to be a shutdown corner while the defense drops 8 or 9 in the box to stop Harris, like they did last year. It will be interesting to see if Foothill coaching can be the difference in this game.

I think we will be disappointed. Foothill will win easier than people think. You are asking a lot of Harris to win this one alone. Harris has to be perfect on both sides of the ball. If Antioch can win the turnover battle they might have a chance.

Antioch has the best player
Foothill has the better overall team

Can go either way, most are expecting a foothill win like last year. Antioch's only chance is If Harris can absolutely take over, or if one of his teammates (probably Payne) can pop some big plays to take the pressure off Harris

Harris will have to have a monumental performance on both sides of the ball for Antioch to win. No pressure.

For the NCS public school championship and the right to be steamrolled by the green machine next week. I can't wait for this game. Promises to be better than last year's game. These 2 teams could very well end up facing off against each other again next year.

8-7 Antioch. Foothill had a nice long run for a TD and Antioch marched. Now Antioch is countering off Harris to confuse the Foothill D.

14-8 Foothill. Antiochs D is having problems with the speed of Foothills back.

55-54 Foothill unbelievable game. Antioch almost came back. Neither team matches up with the Spartan's. Good teams though.

Agreed, No one in Nor Cal can push this years Spartans. I haven't seen anything in So Cal just yet either but haven't seen Bosco play yet.

What an amazing high school football game. Wish Ncs would separate the private schools, this should've been the Ncs championship. Some really controversial calls including the 2 pointer, Antioch offense celebrated thinking Harris was in. Some great talent on display last night, Harria is arguably the best player out of NorCal ever, Floyd is a stud who should be getting some D1 looks, Mercado and Beltram aren't big name national recruits but really really good high school football players

It was definitely the best game of the Ncs playoffs
I can see these teams meeting again next year in the playoffs as both schools still have some good talent returning

Obviously the ref had a better view but it sure looked like Harris broke the plane with the ball before fumbling. I thought Antioch won. Another controversial call by the same ref was the fumbled punt, the foothill player came sliding in on his belly and was not in control of the ball when he slid out of bounds. Overall it was a great game.

Agree on both calls, plus a questionable pass interference call that set up a Foothill td. But Foothill deserved to win,Antioch D could not get stops ,could not contain the edge,Floyd got the corner whenever they needed it

If you see any highlights going around it definitely looks like Harris scores on the 2 point conversion

I wouldn't say that Foothill deserved to win. It ended how it should have ended. Foothill couldn't stop Harris also. It was a great game.

Just watched the replay. Crazy that Harris was able to even get close to the end zone. The spin move in traffic was legit. His own guy knocked the ball out on accident trying to make a block. Great game.

Foothill couldn't stop Harris, but Antioch had no passing threat whatsoever.Entirely one dimensional.FOOTHILL converted just about every big 3rd down they needed to .In particular I remember a 3rd and 8 at about their own 35 and they ran a little sweep to the short side of the field and Floyd got it.Converted a 4th and 1 later in the series, where Floyd was hit in the backfield and he still got it.Foothill was a tad more consistent.Antioch relied on Harris busting big runs,Foothill was able to move the ball more consistently. They had the better kicker,qb,and receivers .Antioch made too many dumb personal foul penalties, seemed a little less disciplined. It was 55-40 Foothill with 2 minutes to go.They were up 2 scores most of the 2nd half.

they didn't rule it a fumble, side judge spotted it short of the GL, ruled him down
When ball came loose it was already a yard deep into the end zone, so I don't see how he could've been short. What's awful is as good as this game was, it was essentially just a battle for who gets to get beat by 50 by De La Salle next week

That was a fantastic high school football game. Well worth the $10. There were some controversial calls that went Foothill's way, but don't forget the first Foothill possession where Floyd looked to have gotten into the end zone for 6, only to have the ball get loose after it appeared he was in the end zone and that one was ruled a fumble and touchback. The calls went both ways, as they do in most games. Both teams should be proud of their efforts in that highly memorable playoff game between 2 undefeated teams.
