Turns out coach Shanan Rosenberg went to St. Francis of Mtn View and has coached at Canada College and Foothill College.
Last year's leading scorer at Linfield was junior Dempsey Roggenbuck, also a NorCal'er...
During my 18 years living in Oregon, I somehow never went to a Linfield game, but was well aware of the college... Saw a number of their NCAA d3 league opponents play a few times.
Bonus fact: Linfield's football team is a small-college legend. Their last losing season was... 1955! This is by far the most consecutive winning seasons in any division of college football, 64 straight years... The next-longest all time is 42.
In various divisions over the years, they've won four national titles.

Rosenberg was a really good player back in late 80’s for st Francis. They had some great teams with Greg Paulson. Believe he played at UCD after that. Maybe some WCAL faithful can chime in. I watched him play at Crusader Classic back in the day.
Shannan is as good as it gets. I remember him from his WCAL days when I was in high school. Solid guy and I had the opportunity to hang out with him while he talked to my buddy Dwayne. He runs a great program, small school, but if you ever wanted to meet someone with a true passion of basketball, he is it.
