Best QB/WR combo in the NBL/SCL?

Had not heard about Brookshire playing bball again. If Connor is not 100% then I think Windsor is the team to beat in the NBL, especially should Curtis Johnson come back. That kid can shoot. And they already have two other kids who score a ton. He's also turned into a good wide receiver, especially for a kid who started playing as a senior.

this is a football thread..so I don't want to go off on a basketball tangent....I will just say this.

Windsor is the team to beat in basketball in the NBL whether Rubattino comes back or not.
And they may go undefeated in league...especially if Rubatinno doesn't come back....watch
for GABE KNIGHT of Windsor to be the league MVP this year....with Damian Wallace (CN) also getting some votes.
But ultimately league champs get the MVP...so Gabe Knight it is.

How tall is Knight? Windsor struggled at times last year but they do return a good core. One thing is for certain…. Basketball in the NBL is going to be pretty weak this year. Last decade or so you've had some good teams like Monty and Newman that could compete at virtually every level outside of the region. Analy had some great teams as well. I don't see that this year.

You're right guru, this is a football thread so I'll get back to it... as far as the best QB/WR combo, I gotta go with CN's Brookshire/Wallace followed by Rancho's Mefferd/CTY. So far no one has been even close to stopping Newman offense and they haven't had their full team in one game all year. CTY is 100% legit, no doubt, but the duo at Newman has two of the best athletes in the NBL/SCL.

Back to football…. Brookshire has another year. Scary. Can he be a dual threat QB at a big place like Oregon? Its not that far fetched. Another year, more size and speed. He's a big time D1 athlete already.

Who was Brookshires wr's last year? He put up big numbers last year but were his receivers as dynamic as Wallace? Did any go on to play at the next level?

I remember one of the Lucey kids, Rubattino, Mansen and Detrich. How is Detrich doing out there anyway? Haven't heard much about him.

No GS_1738 they weren't. The number one guy got hurt in the second game of the year and was out for the year pretty much. None of them are playing football anymore but attending school. Wallace, in my opinion, is the best receiver he's had. I know that they have a couple of kids who can catch this year.

Who got hurt last year?

Link to the YSN365 highlights of CCSF vs SRJC. Johnson from last years Analy team is a stud. Dont know what the story is but he obviously should be at a division 1 school.

Not uncommon for redwood empire guys having to go to SRJC and then D1 from there. Could be a bunch of things like competition and overall lack of exposure but eventually these kids find a home. I mean CCSF has D1 players all over the field.
