Lucky that Branson #2 seed in DII / Folsom and Jesuit high seeds in DI -- feel sorry for St Ignatius #16 seed in DI and having to travel all the way to Clovis. Wonder where the St Joseph v Dougherty Valley game will be played as it is listed as neutral - I wonder if that is a mistake and DV should be home team? I like 5-6 teams in Open - I think the CIF did a good job on that front. Like Campo over Riordan. Westin Ranch v Branson in 2nd round of DII could be a barn burner.

The brackets are completely shady. Perfect example is Rio Americano beat Sacramento 2x and Sac is the 3 seed in 2 and Rio is the 2 seed in 3????? Help me with that one.
Soccer brackets went up a few hours ago, and ticket links just went up for those games, so my guess is that ticket links for hoops should be up... in a few hours. I would think info on where the DV/St. Joseph game will be played will be on said tickets...
There are examples of this every year. I don't envy their job because there are so many results that could contridict other results especially the lower you go in the brackets. That said, they are using this system and need to find a way to fix it. Lucky for these two teams, both got high seeds in their division

Well it suppose to be competitive equity and ranking teams in order. So can someone tell me how a Weston Ranch is seeded #28 in North after beating Folsom an at large entry that gets put at # 7
Y’all know they use Max preps a lot which originated in el dorado hills . Just sayin.
This is a great example. I would think that Folsom and Weston Ranch would be seeded closer together. Or the one that has been mentioned that Campolindo and Las Lomas have more than a 15 spot gap. They split in the regular season and played a very close playoff game.

#7 in D3 is rough but huh guys are as good as anybody in that bracket. Rio can really shoot. Get out on them and you will be fine .
They could only justify one of the two teams being in d 2. Campo was the lamb due to its d2 state ring, covid year run and big run last year.

I’m surprised it’s not Salesian vs University, and make Serra travel to Jesuit. Serra lost to University and also lost the CCS championship to SHC, who University also beat.
I agree it should be at CCC. I was just surprised that it says location is Salesian on GoFan. Hopefully that will change.
