Cancelled due to Air Quality - Opening Tip Off Marathon @ CRC 11/24

As you all know, Camp Fire has devastated many areas of Northern California, and the smoke caused from this fire and other fires has been extremely unhealthy across the state. Many school districts have been forced to close campuses, and many athletic events have been pushed to cancellation or postponement. This has effected high school and college levels.

Officially, late last night, the Los Rios Community College District, which includes Cosumnes River College, American River College, Sacramento City College, and Folsom Lake College, has extended the closure of all four campuses through Sunday, November 25.

We want to express my genuine appreciation for the 10 schools' belief and commitment to the Opening Tip Off Marathon. Many, many hours have been put into the organization of this event so that their experience would be top notch, productive, and enjoyable for each program.

We truly apologize to all affected for having to cancel this year’s event on such short notice.

We are definitely excited about hosting next year's Opening Tip Off Marathon on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Cosumnes River College.

We wish the following programs the best of luck this season.

Folsom and Clayton Valley Charter will play as scheduled. Game is moved to 2pm at Clayton Valley on Saturday.
