Paul Carion, who had a successful run at South San Francisco HS, has resigned. From 2015-16 to 2018-19, his Warriors were dominant in the northern portion of San Mateo County and won 89 games, four PAL North titles and one Central Coast Section Division III crown. At one point, those teams won 41 consecutive league games.

That was a good run. I liked watching the 2018 team when Cedeno was a senior.

He is stepping away from coaching or just SSF?

When we played SSF at the Lincoln (SF) tourney, I thought he mentioned that this was going to be his last year. If my memory serves me it sounds as if it were planned.

It was planned - he actually thought about leaving last year but wanted to finish one more season. He has done a great job with that program.

Great Coach, Father, Husband, Mentor, friend. You just have to see his face light up when his grand kids walk to him before, during and after game. When they call him during practice. No question at all, he deserves to enjoy it. SSF loses a great one. Kids get Grandpa! What a lucky guy
