3 consecutive pass plays in a row up by 1 with not much time left to play- One of the best running teams in the section. Strange. Ya Wont win many games with 7 turnovers though.. hats off to both teams

The takeaways by M-A sealed Wilcox doom.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many fumbles by one team in one game incl in 2 series in a row late in game. As StreakOne pointed out part of that sequence was M-A aggressively trying to strip the ball. Wilcox inability to protect “the rock” & commit an atrocious 7 turnovers literally gave the game to M-A.

Thought M-A started out lackadaisical and Wilcox came to play at the beginning. M-A made some big plays (the soph is a huge D1 recruit) and MA defense tightened up. The Wilcox turnovers (M-A forced many) just buried the Chargers. No way to win a game against a decent team with that many turnovers. M-A defense was stout against the Wilcox veer which they run to perfection. Wilcox wears teams out, but didn't happen this game. Wilcox and M-A will be tough matchups in the regionals.
