CCS playoff competition for NorCal regional games

Sorry, my friend. I don't troll for the sake of trolling like some of our Georgia friends on the national board. I call 'em as I see 'em. That said, if the Warriors can get past a solid Oak Grove team this week, they're also in a good spot for a NorCal regional game.

Georgia?

I hear ya brotha. Luckily no rabs over here but plenty of atliens and echs. Lol. I just don't see St Francis beating us again. I have to miss the Carmel game at HMB since my sons VC plays at same time. Hopefully between twitter and my brother texting me updates I should be there in spirit. You making it up for any games?

Right now, I plan on going to the Palma-Riordan game. Salinas losing last week saved me from having to decide between that game and seeing the Cowboys whipped again by Milpitas.

Was pretty surprised Pally pulled that off. Thought Salas would make a good run. Enjoy Rabobank. Crusaders by 10.

OG seems on a mission. I think they upset St Francis. Milpitas could surprise but not sure they get by the Bells.
I'm pickin..
Bells (but close)
OG
SHP (tough for riordan to beat the twice)

Loser of D3 is out

Yup, with all 6 CCS Open finalists seemingly playing pretty well, next week's games should all be really good. Congratulations to Bellarmine, Milpitas, Oak Grove, St. Francis, and the winner of Riordan/SHP for advancing to the NorCal regionals. I think they're all capable of doing some damage.

Btw, this Oak Grove/VC result should operate as a reminder that just because one game goes one way, that doesn't mean that's how it would turn out every single time. Anyone who says "I saw Team A beat Team B and that told me that they'd beat them 8 out of 10 times" has absolutely no credibility in my book. VC beat the Eagles 24-0 earlier this season, but now OG returned the favor with a 19-point win. You never know what you're going to get sometimes in a rematch, nor should you. I expect both Oak Grove-St. Francis II and Riordan-SHP II to also be very good games. Good luck to all of the teams.

Bells vs Milpitas
SF vs OG
Riordan Vs SHP
Which team gets left out of State?
Agree with NorCal - the Open DIII runner up of the Riordan / Sacred Heart Prep game will be left out. They both have lower CCS PowerPoints than all the other remaining Open teams.

The expected winners are BCP, SF and AR but as mentioned above, OG is on fire right now and Milpitas could beat BCP. IMO, the AR/SHP is little more than a predictive draw. But in all scenarios, the DIII runner up get left out.
Bellarmine owns wins over SF and AR. As a runner up, they would be picked over other runner ups SF and AR for H2H, OG and SHP for common opponent (CO) wins.
Milpitas, as a runner up, would be picked second after SF or OG with CO losses, but before AR/SHP by CCS PowePoints (CCS-PP).
St. Francis owns a win over AR. As a runner up, SF would be picked first over Milpitas (CO win), second to BCP (H2H), and over AR (H2H) or SHP (CO).
Oak Grove, as a runner up, would be picked first over Milpitas (CO win), second to BCP (CO), and over AR (CO) or SHP (CCS-PP)
Archbishop Riordan has H2H losses to BCP and SF. They would lose a second pick to OG (CO) and Milpitas (CCS-PP).
Sacred Heart Prep would be picked last to all others: BCP and SF (CO); Milpitas and OG (CCS-PP)

So the five CCS selections will be BCP, Milpitas, SF, OG and AR/SHP. The exact order will depend on which teams win.
