Is that a brother of Jerod Haase, the Stanford HC who prepped at South Tahoe before playing with Kidd at Cal and then moving on to Kansas? Almost has to be, right?

gotta be some relative. Jerrod Haas was same year as JKIDD. 1992.

Article online says Steve is the older brother and played for Air Force.

Cal Bears folks would remember Mike Pitts from San Diego also played in the Classic.
I stumble across a old box and spent darn near a whole day just going through all the old score books dating back into the early 70's up into the mid 90's. Some had team pictures clipped to them. Funniest part is now when we reminisce I know that 35 point night my friend had was really 23, too funny.

Cal Bears folks would remember Mike Pitts from San Diego also played in the Classic.

I definitely remember big Michael Pitts. He lived in the East Bay for awhile and used to play in some hoops leagues. Not sure if he's still around.

Pitt’s had a daughter Tatiana that was a baller as well, for I think Antioch HS.
