Love how SJSU is putting together a consistent winning program and connecting it with Bay Area local kids……my 4 year old absolutely loves going to SJSU games and we have randomly become season ticket holders last 2 years because it’s a good time out there and totally mellow……..they are doing a nice job of connecting the community with the team………….Sac St is doing the same and no coincidence to see it doing well………..they are buying into “protect your backyard”

Agreed. I also think it helps protect against transfers. Harder for a kid in the two deep from Vacaville for example to say he wants to transfer from San Jose State compared to a kid from Texas in the same situation.

On San Jose State specifically, Brennan and company have done a great job of creating a stable winner and bringing in community support. Hope they can keep him around for awhile.
