Both teams are in the Delta League now and they both run the split back veer. Jesuit Blanton played at DLS and inherit the veer from Coach Lad not sure where Monterey Trails O.C. Acuri learned the veer concepts. Both coaches have ran this offense very effective for over a decade. Now that they're competing against the same programs does anyone know which offense has been more effective in the Delta League and why? Or are they both similarly ran with the same results?

I usually only see MT play once a year, usually against Jesuit, but they seem more consistent at least with the running aspect of the veer. Jesuit kind of depends on the talent they have. A few years ago they had Parietti, Bisharat and Elenberger each run for over 1,000 yards. They also had a good offensive line and Bailey at wide receiver that season so they could beat you in a lot of ways. Last season Bisharat was the only playmaker and the offensive line wasn't very good so they struggled big time.
