We really appreciate all the teams and fans who showed up at Miramonte Saturday. We hope to do it again next year. The scores and/or results:

Mission San Jose JVs, now 21-1, handled the Miramonte JVs in the opener. That MSJ team is a really good JV team -- tough defense, good shooting, no size, plays the game really well.

Campolindo 46, Windsor 37: Matt Kirby has resurrected the program after the cupboard was left bare, and frosh Allie Cummins is an impressive player.

Las Lomas d. Skyline: Las Lomas jumped on Skyline early and held on for the win.

Bentley 42, Roseland University Prep 32: The mighty Phoenix prevail ...

St. Patrick St. Vincent 54, California 48: Erica Adams didn't play for Cal High. She played Friday night but rested a balky knee. Not surprisingly, Tameiya Sadler played really well.

Miramonte 79, Bishop O'Dowd 63: Jordan Allred had 28 and Erin Tarasow 27 as Miramonte took control early, withstood a third-quarter rush and finally beat BOD. Note that Kennedy Johnson of O'Dowd was on a minutes' restriction, apparently, though she did play quite a bit. Leah Sopak missed the game for Miramonte due to an ankle injury.

American 53, Monte Vista 45: American could never quite put Monte Vista away but led pretty much the entire game.

St. Joseph Notre Dame d. Clayton Valley: Running clock early in fourth quarter. SJND only had eight or nine healthy players, and all of them are good, so even when the subs came in, there was no dropoff.

Thanks again to all ...
