1. Serra (7-0)

Serra rolled past Bellarmine 54-16 heading into this week’s game against Riordan. The Padres led 27-0 after the first quarter. Serra has held four opponents to seven points or less.

2. De La Salle (5-2)

The Spatans overcame a slow start to take a 27-12 fourth quarter lead, but saw the Wolves score 15 straight points to force overtime. In the extra period, Derrick Blanche had a six yard touchdown run to seal the 33-27 win. The defense forced four turnovers and supplied constant pressure. De La Salle hosts Foothill this week.

3. Folsom (6-2)

The Ryder Lyons-Brian Ray connection was at it again with three more touchdowns in a 63-19 win over Whitney. The Bulldogs led 28-0 after the first quarter. This week, they travel to Del Oro as they look to clinch a share of the SFL title.

4. St. Mary’s-Stockton (7-1)

After getting down 7-0 in the first quarter, St. Mary’s was in control throughout in a 42-14 win over Tracy. Samson Hunkin threw four touchdown passes with freshman Osani Gayles grabbing two of them. On Friday, the Rams play Tokay before taking on rival Lincoln-Stockton in the regular season finale.

5. Oak Ridge (7-1)

Down 14-0 after the first quarter, Oak Ridge stormed back to beat Granite Bay 25-14 behind two touchdown runs from Erick Orme Jr. and touchdown catches from Jadon Anderson and Kaleb Edwards.

6. San Ramon Valley (6-1)

A good start and furious finish weren’t enough for San Ramon Valley to hand De La Salle its first NCS loss since 1991 in a 33-27 overtime loss to the Spartans. Quarterback Luke Baker had more than 350 total yards and three passing touchdowns and the Wolves’ defense grabbed three fumbles. The Wolves need to bounce back quickly as it travels to California on Friday.

7. Pittsburg (7-0)

The Pirates had no trouble against Freedom in beating the Falcons 54-0 behind four touchdown passes from Marley Alcantara. It is the Pirates’ second straight shutout to start Bay Valley Athletic League play. Pittsburg hosts Heritage this week.

8. Central Catholic (6-2)

Tyler Wentworth threw for 380 yards and five touchdowns with Trace Hernandez and Brooklyn Cheek each hauling in two scores in a 64-39 win at Oakdale. The Raiders led 36-33 at the half before out-scoring the Mustangs 28-6 in the second half. They host Manteca on Friday in one of the top games of the week.

9. Grant (7-1)

The result was never in question in an 82-0 win over Kennedy-Sacramento, but the big takeaway was the season debut of senior Devin Green, who had 155 yards and four touchdowns on five total touches. The Pacers travel to Monterey Trail with the Metro Conference title on the line.

10. Rocklin (7-1)

The Thunder had more than 400 total yards and grabbed two interceptions in a 35-14 win over Del Oro. Derek Keeley rushed for more than 100 yards and Nate Martin caught two touchdowns from Reeve Slone. The Thunder end the regular season with road games against Granite Bay and Oak Ridge.

11. St. Francis-Mountain View (4-3)

Kingston Keanaaina had three touchdown runs and Aaron Knapp connected with Grant Righellis for two touchdowns in a 44-22 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral. The Lancers got out to a 14-0 lead, but saw Sacred Heart Cathedral tie it at 14 before St. Francis scored the next 23 points.

12. Riordan (6-1)

Riordan won a shootout over Mitty 56-42 behind four rushing touchdowns from Charlie Johnson. The Crusaders have scored at least 41 points in each WCAL game as it travels to No. 1 Serra on Saturday.

13. Manteca (6-2)

The Buffaloes ran for 558 yards, led by 267 yards and five touchdowns from Bryson Davis, in a 69-0 win over East Union. Freshman Nikko Juarez ran for 111 yards and a score.

14. Granite Bay (5-3)

Despite getting out to a 14-0 lead, Granite Bay fell to Oak Ridge 25-14 for their third loss to Top 13 teams. Isaiah Ene finished with 104 yards and a touchdown. In their three losses, the Grizzlies have averaged just shy of 12 points. Granite Bay hosts Rocklin this week.

15. Del Oro (5-3)

Caden Pinnick threw for 201 yards and ran for a team high 97 yards in a 35-14 loss to Rocklin in the Golden Eagles’ third straight SFL loss to start league play. The Golden Eagles have given up 43 points per game in the SFL. Del Oro will host Folsom this week.

16. McClymonds (3-2)

The Warriors shutout Castlemont 56-0 and have now held nine of their last 10 OAL opponents to eight points or less. They are off this week before taking on Oakland on October 27.

17. California (5-2)

In the leadup to this week’s game against San Ramon Valley, California went to Danville and secured a 21-14 win over Monte Vista. Luke Taylor and Sayyidi Abdul-Kareem each had rushing touchdowns for the Grizzlies.

18. Los Gatos (5-2)

Five different players scored rushing touchdowns for Los Gatos, which beat Mountain View 55-2. Boxer Kopcsak-Yeung had 126 total yards with a rushing score and a touchdown catch. Los Gatos travels to Burlingame on Thursday with a trip to Wilcox scheduled on October 27.

19. Marin Catholic (7-0)

The Wildcats got their fourth shutout of the season in a 51-0 victory over Archie Williams. This week, Marin Catholic travels to 6-1 Redwood with the regular season finale looming against fellow undefeated San Marin.

20. St. Ignatius (4-3)

Add another come from behind win for St. Ignatius, which beat Valley Christian 15-14 after beating down 14-0 early in the fourth quarter. Jarious Hogan had a touchdown run and touchdown catch in the win. It is rivalry week with Sacred Heart Cathedral coming up on Friday.
