If this weren't such a novelty game for Cattolico, I would say Palma should ask Overfelt if they'd like to play King City and Chieftains could take on the Grizzlies.

Palma has scrimmaged the Grizzlies before. Definitely would be a better matchup.

There are a lot of non-league games that are going to be non competitive. At least this one has a historical connection.

I get it but this is football. In basketball or baseball, you’ll be okay. Football, someone can get seriously hurt.

Well, hopefully, the boys know what they signed up for. Football, as we understand it today, is a physical sport—at least until they adopt flag football rules haha—and I can almost guarantee, when it’s all said and done, both locker rooms will consist of players who are indeed hurt. Otherwise, I’d question what game they played haha.

Like Streak One, I like this matchup. Games like this are great for the sport, awesome for the community. We have to trust the equipment, the officials, the coaches and trainers, each team’s training and preparation leading up to the game. Players will get hurt—hopefully not impaired—but they’ll be made stronger because of it. And one of coolest things about football is any team can win against any team on any given day.

I haven’t heard that one but I do know one of Folsoms qbs transferred to Oak Ridge.

Stud Frosh QB who already has a D1 offer. Will be Folsom next QB after Lyons graduates. Brody Rudnicki.
Erick Orme the nice RB OR had last year. He will come in to Folsom as a senior so I don't know what that means in terms of eligibilty but it will give them another nice option on the ground.

Taylor isn't all that. I will leave it at that. I honestly he should have never survived what happened last summer. Rudnicki should have been starting as a Frosh on varsity (He was best QB at that school last year) but its daddy ball at OR and there QB is one of coaches kid.

I forgot about Rudnicki but he’ll be on JV this year. I doubt that rb gets much play as Folsom has Carter Jackson and Daymion Rivera.

It’s looking like the SFL is going to be down next season with the exception of Folsom.

Rudnicki will take a similiar path as Lyons. He will get snaps on JV's will be one of the best QB's in the section (playing JV's.).
Lyons will reclassify after this season and either go on a mission or directly to a big-time school. TBD but he's not coming back to HS.
Rudnicki will start as a JR at Folsom and be the next in line as a great QB coming out of Folsom.

People leave for various reasons, but this was all OR issue. Rudnicki didn't want to leave. It was the smart thing to do given the BS at OR.

Not sure why Orme left because that position is pretty loaded and your QB likes to run also.
