Deer Valley couldn't field a freshman or a JV team, but they had a Varsity team of 30 suited up and 10on the side lines as the Wolverines took advantage of a AC team that was in self destruction During the first quarter, DV held the ball for 14 minutes, racking up eight first downs and a TD by Scott.
AC lost the ball on a offside kick which was to take place four times and give DV good field position.
American Canyon had a TD called back on a 25yard run due two one of three15 yard penalities...The Deer Valley defense stopped AC four times, recovering fumbles inside the 10 yard line
For Deer Valley it was the combination of Scott and Robinson who ran wild, racking up 22 first downs and 352yards on 50 carries on the ground and another 56 yards through the air.
