Max Preps has some video from the scrimmage on De La Salle's and Riordan's Max Preps pages.

According to a few guys that came up late with any information, said that its the same DLS just different kids...DLS, like Pittsburg walked over every body and were never challenged.

DLS will be just fine this year as they again reload with many promising players on both sides of the ball. DLS' rb, Robinson, looks to be the second coming of Jones-Drew.. DLS's speed of play, especially their O-Line play is simply amazing. It's really hard to appreciate unless you see them in person, up close. Marin Catholic will be very good this year with many returning players and are very well coached. They should be State Contenders in their respective division. BOD had to have the most big and imposing looking players of all the teams. The Dragons have a very quick and shifty rb making some impressive gains.
Riordan had the deer in the headlights looks when it opened the scrimmage with MC. The Wildcats over ran the Crusaders with 4 scores in its first possessions. Riordan settled down and played straight up with BOD. DLS played most of its reserves as did Riordan late as they were the remaining teams to play a third time to close out the scrimmage. Max Mezie ran well in his varsity debut as did FB Lasa Tofi. There were 2 other rbs that looked good but not sure who they were. Josh Boone and several others skill players did not suit up. Boone was wearing a cast on his wrist. Crusader skill players are not as deep as last season, and I expect many will be two-way players. QB looks to be unsettled, but should pan out by end of non-league play. This team is a work in progress as they flashed some good play at times, as well as blowing coverage or simply not executing on offense on others. The Crusaders certainly did take their lumps, but they were not embarrassed as in years past. Too bad Coach Fordon was not there...All in all, a very well run scrimmage with lots of excitement from each school and great fan support. DLS also had a drone flying overhead recording the action. Footage can be caught on the DLS Maxpreps page.

Don't know. The 3rd rotation of the scrimmage would have pitted MC and BOD. Instead both teams huddled at opposite ends of the field for a few minutes and then packed up and left while DLS and Riordan were scrimmaging. Are they in the same division?

Great recap.

-DLS DE's and OLB's have a ways to go- they will likely be picked on early
-The DLS QB, Ordaz, has significantly improved his throwing over the last 6 weeks.
-BOD had a safety that was flying around hitting anything that moved- dont know who he is but he was impressive. BOD looked better coached than when I saw them a couple years ago.
-MC QB and LT are studs. That QB can easily add 20-30 LB's- he can throw the rock with ease. They have a nice core of very physical players too.
-Riordan has some talent and showed lots of juice at times.
