For sure Rich wasnt happy losing homegrown talent to his nemesis on the other side of 92. Maybe they got a better offer from Saint Serra than the Jesuits or the Cougars. Not enough pumpkin pie could keep him "home" lol;)

Absolutely would have love to have coached Jack and thoroughly enjoyed the 2 seasons I had with him. Unfortunately, due to some family issues, family relocated to San Mateo and Serra reaped and will reap the benefits. Haven't seen him this season yet, but if reports are accurate that he has grown another couple of inches to reach 7'0 feet, will be fascinating to watch his development over the next 3 years. He has a nice touch, huge frame and is good shot. If he can develop a jump hook with both hands and be a rim protector, watch out! Will also be very interesting to see how Serra's defense evolves as he is not the type of player who is equipped currently to guard away from the basket. Very hard-working kid and he is very strong. With Serra's strength and conditioning program, if his athleticism increases dramatically, I could see him being a top 10 player in the country by his Senior year.

BTW, 1 DNA we were offering a 4 year full-ride to be a Cougar, not sure what others could do. LOL! Just a friendly jab, not insinuating anything.;):D!!

I understand real estate is booming but your boosters couldnt offer an Ocean View home lol that and include lifetime passes to Pumpkin Fest? Maybe could have sealed the deal. All kidding aside I think you have typo. You said top 10 player in the COUNTRY. Did you mean county? ;) I mean at 7'0 and a stretch 5 as you've alluded to, he would be the 2nd coming. When is the Sports Illustrated photo shoot? SMDaily and Nathan Mollat is one thing. A national recruit from SM County is another. I'd love to see it though...

He did say "if his athleticism increases dramatically". There is no reason a 7 footer with dramatically increased athleticism wouldn't be on the national radar. That being said, it doesn't sound like he predicting such.

He is definitely on the national radar already. There are no secrets among the recruiters out there.

Guys, The Dr and I go back and forth beyond this message board. Read the post completely, theres a bunch ton of tongue and cheek in that whole message. Thank you though for stating the obvious.
