Dublin guard up to six offers

The newest offers for Dublin/Cal Stars 2018 guard Lesila Finau are from San Jose State and Nebraska.

Other offers are UC Santa Barbara, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Northridge and Pacific.

Nice.....choose a school for the school and not basketball. Also choose a school that you can do well at and not flunk out.

San Jose State makes sense or maybe Pacific....

UCSB is too hard academically.......not many Polynesians in Nebraska.....northridge and Bakersfield are bottoms barrel schools.

Sila is up to 7 offers now, she's been offered by Hawaii.
The sky is the limit for her and she will receive more offers throughout the year. Very talented, easy to coach and her parents (Mom) does a heck of a job!

Congrats.....why are you telling everyone how many offers she has?????? It's a apparent she gonna play at the next level....if she's offered by a PAC-12 or power team definitively let us know. Bad karma ....one knee injury and it all goes bye bye.

You haven't been around twitter, there are high school kids all day long saying I am pleased to receive my 15th off and so on. If she get's a Pac12 offer, then you want to hear? Debbie Downers need not to reply, if you don't agree, then move on and read something else. You might have a daughter that has no offers and with your attitude, now I can see why.

In fact girls and boys I know getting offers keep it close to the vest and announce later where they are going. Just saying bro.

In fact girls and boys I know getting offers keep it close to the vest and announce later where they are going. Just saying bro.

I've had the pleasure of getting to know Lesila and her family this spring and they are really good people. She's a super nice kid. Congrats to her on this success and for the fact she is going to get her education paid for.

She's the best hoop player at DHS in a long time. I'm sure her mom will help guide her in making the best decision that meets her needs.

I'm almost certain CoachDblP is NOT the boys coach at DHS...I'm pretty sure he used to coach at Dougherty Valley though as he used to update the board and post the schedule on the DV Summer Shootout

You may be right, but there is a current post on the boys board stating:


Dublin HS needs 1 scrimmage, 1 Foundation Game, and a team for its 13th Annual Don Nelson Classic tournament. It's a great tournament, solid field every year, excellent facilities, hospitality room, and awards. A team changed coaches and did not communicate their tournament commitment with the new coach, unfortunately...

Positive Influence, you are absolutely correct. I did coach at Dougherty Valley HS and I did do all the posts for our Summer Shootout but also great friends with coach Costello at Dublin, so he asked that I posted something on here for him.
