Moreau v. Modesto Christian: I goofed and did the wrong thread. Anyway, Moreau jumped to a surprise early lead, as much as 16, I think…. But Modesto Chr. scored the last 6 or 8 to get back in range for a comeback. 37-27 Moreau at the half.

Crespi coached by former Laker great Derek Fisher, and on the team are the twin sons of former NBA player and Laker Matt Barnes.... the twins mom gloria govan is now married to derek fisher..... all 3 in the building last night.

The most impressive teams I saw over the weekend were DLS and Oakland Tech, and I lean to DLS. They played under control and with much poise, something you don't see very often in November hoops.

I haven't seen Salesian yet, but I'm told it looks like there has been no dropoff from last year's team.

(Darn! Nobody has come up with that magic elixir that can put me in multiple gyms at once!)

Sounds like Coach Knight had a nice talk with his team after the Tech game. They are super athletic.

Tech looked like an Open contender. Well coached, very good backcourt and the big man is much improved.

MC was all Sykes, he was amazing. Lack a big man to control the paint.

DLS has a huge frontline and all seniors. Blair takes plays off but when he’s locked in he’s a monster.

Watched some of Inderkum and they have some high flyers and a stud PG. They have to be #1 team in Sac area.

I think Oak Tech has a shot at Open this year…..most likely D1….but they have a shot at open for sure
