Interesting scenario for Elk Grove. Win the coin toss against Sheldon (who tied for the Delta title) and they are in Division I. They lost it and will stay in Division II

Doesn’t make sense. Section rule is if you win a D1 league you play D1 in playoffs. They tied and coin flip was to determine higher seed not to play a level down.

What was there pre determined division when the school year started?

They are a D2 school playing in a D1 League. By rule if you win the league you have to go D1. They tied with Sheldon and had a coin flip . So basically it was a coin flip for D1vs D2. But rule is for seeding . They should have been D1 and lower seed than Sheldon . If they won coin toss both would be D1

I couldn't believe that one. I actually think you can make a case for Sheldon over Folsom.
