According to the Daily Republic Fairfield hired Randy Hood. I wonder why when things were coming along with David Fishleigh (SJS DIII Champion/Rodriquez). Will this set them back or will build momentem from Fishleigh's players. Thoughts any one?

Wasn't Randy Hood the coach when they went to the section championship with Desmond Bishop a long time ago? I think Fairfield has fallen into the same trap that most small California cities have fallen into, too many schools. Armijo had its glory days 30-40 years ago, then they fell into a slump that they never came out of, most good players went to Vanden. Fairfield had a ton of athletes in the '90s and early 2000's, then Rodriguez opened and they all went there. Fairfield as a school has just turned into a dump, it will take a coach with unlimited time and resources to turn that program around.
Hood can coach -- can he get the players? He had a good run there as assistant and head coach, but it may be a tough sell, wish him luck!
