MCD looked like a team that didn't to be there...
As some others have indicated ...why play...we already proved everything...
seems MCD bought into that...didn't have the effort
Well don't show up...let somebody else have a chance if you are not going to

Saw the game... Alvarez definitely looked out-of-sorts for a highly-ranked point guard... Makes me wonder if she was sick or something... Couldn't handle the ball at all, almost looked like she was dizzy at times.

There were those, myself among them, that felt MCD had done a lot with a talent level slightly below that of other national contenders. Alvarez is a very good player, but she's not really at the level of some of the others. New Hope took away her right hand, and of course, got lucky with the fouls.

A great year for MCD, and nothing to be ashamed of. My sense was they lost to a better team.
