D1 kids has never been what DLS is about, they win with discipline and execution. OLU if memory serves is picked to finish 5Th in league that doesn’t mean they are not good, it more highlights the differences in talent between North and South. Yes their line is huge, but that is the case with many teams in SoCal, last time these two teams played OLU line was huge as well. DLS lost because of poor tackling, and execution, the QB play in the passing game was a serious problem. They will struggle all year with quality teams if they can’t correct this. On another note OLU didn’t just schedule up this year because of transfers or they thought they would be good. They did this in prep for league play, and routinely have played tough non league games.
