Folsom state best 36 game winning streak

I think what he means is... I was wrong about my previous statement but instead of saying that I'll talk about how cool our fake blue turf is.
The 6-8k people at our games sure think it's pretty cool ;)

Go back and look at the threads from back then...

Many people picked that game to be a tight one...Then all of a sudden Oceanside was the worst team in CA that somehow made it to the D1 state title game undefeated! LMFAO!

;);)
Again no one besides Oceanside homers thought they were going to be close to beating or hanging with Folsom. Hell even Sammy from down south who calls Folsom the "devil" had Folsom as a 2-3 TD winner.

Most people don't remember (or refuse to bring up) the fact that the score of that game was 7-7 at the end of the 1st quarter ;)

Post a link to a picture of your field...

We all want to see what a 1970's field with no lights looks like ;)

And the answer is???????? Go to page 13 there was one person Plaindriver who said Oside was pretty good no one else in the predictions page or game thread had this game being close

Gotta love G61.

G61: People were saying Centennial was as good as Oside!

Everyone else: No they weren't, that's crazy!

G61: People said Oside/Folsom was going to be a close game!

EE: That's also crazy, prove it!

G61: Well our fields better then yours because it's blue. Let's see what your 1970's field with no lights looks like.

EE: How about you prove your previous points?

G61: Look at how rich our area is! Our median income is really high!

EE: Then play someone out of state.

G61: We have no money!

Hahaha, nailed the conversation. The median income argument is my favorite, blue turf is a close second. Anyone who talks about wealth in their city is probably living in an apartment complex or renting, people with money generally don't talk about it.

In other news, most turf is green.

Not our turf...We are special ;)

A nice article for your enjoyment. Remember, G61 did not write this ;)

I think it would be fair to say that Folsom has been playing at an Elite Level the past few years, however, their schedule while tough, it is not Elite. It would be nice to see them step up their schedule to match the quality of their program. Until they do, only the "homers" would consider them at DLS level - and they very well could be there now, but we wont know until they play that elite schedule.

This year I can understand why Folsom didn't schedule tougher with so many lost starters from last season's team. I mean, how many did they lose to graduation? Like 21 of 22 starters? Even the great DLS would not schedule against the best teams if they lost that many to graduation. DLS has been slick over the years, (when they don't quite have their greatest talent), to schedule a little softer in the lean years. You guys also have to admit, the strong catholic schools in California, as well as across the nation, typically can be more consistent talent-wise, year-in, year-out than public schools can. Should Folsom have scheduled tougher last year? Definitely. This year, I don't really think so, not knowing how good they would be. They almost lost the 1st game of the year to CVC. Had that game been week 3 or 4, I think Folsom wins that game by 2-3 tds. If Folsom would have allowed Qb Jake Jeffries to pass last year when he got into games the 2nd half, I think Folsom would've had more experience entering the 1st game of the year. Also, the offensive and defensive line play is gelling now, versus the 1st couple of weeks.

My hope for Grant, being a SJS fan, is that their HC Al would retire and they try to go outside their school to recruit a proven winning HC that would bring a new system to Grant. I mean, think about how good they could be with Folsom's system and coaches or Del Oro's coaches. The system and plays they run are outdated and very basic. I mean, even the fans in the stands complain about the same basic plays every year. They have some of the best talent in the state most years but rarely get the best out of their players. Their linemen typically get beaten by smaller lines. Not against the lesser teams, but against some of the better schools they play. I would love to see Grant with a spread offense, with a talented, dual-threat Qb running their offense. I wonder how good they could be with that system and coaches?
