It's halftime here at Lincoln High in Stockton and in a surprising DEFENSIVE struggle, it's Downey's Knights 14 and Lincoln's Trojans 7. Lincoln's defense has kept Downey's explosive offense in check, while Downey has returned the favor with respect to Lincoln's prolific RB, Jordin Thomas. Another surprising fact is that both Downey TDs were the result of blocked kicks.

Incredible work by Lyons and terrible tackling by Poly.

Except, Lyons does that to everyone. He’s just super hard to get a hold of and bring down. He pretty much makes every team look like they can’t tackle.

His patient scrambling while always looking downfield is eerily reminiscent of Patrick Mahomes just at the HS level.
