Caden Pinnick (Del Oro) won the MVP at the Kendall Arnett (Placer). Had 41 in the semifinals against Rio Americano and added 31 in the finals against Placer.

Charles Williams (Marin Catholic) had 37 points against King on Day 3.

Jackson Lloyd (Carmel) had 21 points and 20 rebounds in winning tournament MVP at the Carmel Invitational
 
But aren’t these guys just supposed to play only one sport for 11 months of the year? Camps, clinics, compression shorts and T shirts.

This non sense will obviously hurt any recruiting and ability to play football at the next level.

I too love kids playing multiple sports, but in fairness, if there was a way for the best football players to play football “year round”, a majority of them would. Most of the kids who want to play basketball and baseball in college are playing their sport year round, because they can.
 
Then you have athletes that can be recruited in multiple sports. The one Oakdale kid as sophomore played great in football. But coaches were looking at him as a freshman in wrestling. But he wants to play football. Like his dad. Just not QB he doesn't want to be compared to his dad. But he does run track like his mom!
