DV begins to get control of the game midway thru the 3rd, leads 34-21 after 3 quarters.

They were only doing GoFan tix at the door, but I’m pretty sure there are many left..

BIG run by DV to start the 3rd, suddenly it’s 38-37 DV,4:24 left 3rd.

52-47 DV now, 3:23 left in the JV game.

SRV scores 7 straight to take the lead 54-52, 1:14 left.

SRV had 2 free throws to go up by 4…. But missed ‘em both.

DV ball, down 54-52…. Time out with 27 seconds left…. Shot clock turned off.

DV gets a shot up, no good, SRV rebound, foul…. 2 shots double bonus, 2 point lead. First one good to make it 55-52 SRV, time out. 4.4 seconds left.

Second one good, 56-52…. DV fouls, with fouls to give…. Long SRV try, no go…. 56-52 final.

Gym is packed now, or at least close to it…. gonna be a great atmosphere for what should be a terrific ball game…

Both teams come in at 15-1, despite MaxPreps having 16 wins for SRV…. One of those listed is two games at the same time with the same final score against two different Roosevelt HS’s…. Obviously, one of those is a MaxPreps boo-boo.

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use my keyboard durning this one…. I’ll be forced to stand, it looks like…. At least, if I wanna see…

19-12 SRV after a very fast first quarter, with few fouls and no time outs.

After SRV’s initial hot start, DV roared back. It’s been back and forth since, several lead changes.
