Grant back to D1

Home Sweet Home the Pacers have been moved up to Division 1 . Huge Congratulations to Coach Reed and Coach Thompson and the whole staff and most all the Mighty Pacer Players 👏🏽💪🏽🫡💙💛
Should have been there last season. Don’t be surprised if Grant pulls off a last second victory against Folsom week 1. I highly doubt Folsom will run the table this season.

The Pacers face a challenging and exciting preseason schedule, and it will be a great opportunity to see how they rise to the occasion in the Division 1 playoffs alongside top programs like Folsom and even Oak Ridge.

I expected the program to remain in Division 2 for at least another year. But is sounds like the SJS recognized the Pacers growth and potential. Or possibly other programs became disgruntled.

The team’s returning experience, work ethic, and coaching will be key as they step up to new competition.

Defensively, the Pacers have shown promise on the defensive line, and with several returners in the secondary and linebacker corps, there's plenty of reason to believe we’ll see a stronger, more complete unit this year.

Offensively, I'd like to see them focus on building consistency and finishing drives against elite defenses. The Pacers bring back a strong group of skill position players, along with some exciting new additions who could help spark the offense. One of the key storylines will be who takes the helm at the quarterback position, as steady leadership under center will be crucial to unlocking the full potential of this group.

But again that preseason schedule is insane! Just wow!
