Good lord. How was this debacle allowed to proceed into the third period? The score at the end of one was 59-0. The halftime tally was 80-0. The Inglewood QB tossed 13 TD passes, several in the second half. Were there any actual adults in authority from either institution in attendance at this outrage?

Just a guess here... Two inner-city schools that have probably been archrivals for decades is probably a big part of it, but there has to be some backstory, too. Wouldn't be surprised to find some item in the news eventually.

Look at The Bright Side….. After putting up 80 in the First Half, Inglewood took their foot off the gas and only scored 26 in the second half…..🤣

Like I said in the Other Thread, the CIF should Bump Inglewood up to D1 and let them play MD in the first Round…. 🤣🤣

Seriously though, Inglewood’s Coach should be suspended for this mess, how you are not running the ball with your second stringers the rest of the game after being up 59-0 in the second quarter is just inexcusable…..

for the record... inglewood isnt all that inner city anymore. SoFi has helped to change the culture immensely and even before that it was not all that bad of a city

Inglewood will be the 12th seed in D2 most likely.Probably won’t make it out of the 1st round

Inglewood has beaten Loyola and San Clemente this as well. They are pretty legit this year it a much lower level. But won’t win CIF.

Simply disgraceful of the highest degree. I guarantee you every coach of every team can put 11 guys on the field that have no prayer of scoring, should they decide to be a good sport.

.....or Folsom to see who can run up the score the most. Maybe a benefit-fundraiser based on Points/TD's ran up through 4 Qtr's

Looked up history of game score run ups:

NFL: 1940....Bears over Redskins 73-0
College: 1916... Georgia Tech over Cumberland College 222-0
HS: 1926... Haven HS (Kansas) over Sylvia HS 256-0

Am sure those of you more knowledgable contributors can/will find scores with more spreads than my cursory research above. Have at it.
