SHC beat Riordan in 9 innings, 4-3.

In the first, SHC recorded a walk, followed by a fly ball to left field. A failed pick-off attempt with an error on the throw moved the runner to second. An RBI double scored the first run of the game.

Irish scored again in the third after a strikeout, a double to right, a walk and a hit batter, a single to third base scored the runner from third.

In the fourth, Riordan scored on a two-run homer to tie the game at 2. They scored again in the fifth to take a 3-2 lead after a single, a balk that moved a runner to third and a bunt-out at first.

SHC tied the game in the 6th on a home run by Conner LaChapelle, who later in the game apparently got spiked at first base by the runner and had to leave the game.

Irish finally scored again in the 9th on a homer by Daniel Hinderliter to take a 4-3 lead. In the bottom half, Riordan had a hit batter, a flyball out to center field and a player caught in a run-down. A strikeout that was recorded at first base saw the runner out but that is where the first baseman got injured. The next batter was hit by the pitch. A walk loaded the bases and the final batter struck out swinging to end the game.
