Is having NorCal lacrosse participation on your high school resume a new way to entice East Coast colleges to grant you admission? If not, what's the attraction? Thoughts?

While I'm not a lacrosse fan I know a few who are whose kids play in leagues outside the high schools and they tell me if anyone is good and wants to pursue it they go to St Ignatius. From what I'm told SI is the DLS of Lacrosse and there are scholarships to be had in the Ivy leagues for the right players.
