Now over 20 minutes and no updates from NFHS announcers as to injury situation - just a steady stream of same commercials repeating. Terrible coverage by NFHS by leaving viewers uniformed, esp those from Liberty area watching game.

Another Wow! and this one is for Liberty. VC's kick-returner instead of letting long kick-off go into end zone scoops up ball and runs along goal line with nowhere to go and 1/2 the Liberty defenders in front of him.
Predicted result as he is tackled on VC's own 2 yard line. Terrible decision!

Crazy game as VC converts and on the reception & tackle a personal foul is called on VC. Ball moved back well into VC territory. VC passes again for big gain deep into Liberty territory and yet another flag against VC and ball goes back to LOS + penalty as VC is moving backwards despite big plays.
OK game over as VC QB fumbles on pass roll out & Liberty player scoops up and rambles in for winning TD.
Like SF VC had plenty of chances, but some sloppy play & penalties really cost them against another really good team.

I have to say that VC did much better than I thought they would do against Liberty. The final score is no indication of how VC actually did. I liked the VC shotgun set and I think if VC will use that offensive set as a part of their normal training, they will be a huge force in the future. Main problem, they don't have enough competition using the pro set to get good at it.
Liberty did well. Their defensive front 7 did well against a good wing-t offense. And Butterfield is great QB. Their offensive line held up well against the rush attack giving Butterfield lots of time to choose his target. He's going to be really good next year.
Personal irritation: Right or wrong, I really do not like the Refs being the stars of the game. But they were the main players in the 4Q of this game.
