Wow! G61, you finally have agreed with me ...
"
As you stated, every town or city has it's problems. You just have a lot more" - G61
"
Like any city, there are good elements and there are bad elements. Stockton just happens to have more bad elements than other cities." - bulldogmgc
Thank you for sharing the income levels of both cities, Mr. Obvious! But, like crime in some cities that never gets reported, surveys of incomes do not truly capture the true incomes of the city. Sure, the median is lower for Stockton because there are more low income people in Stockton than other cities, and that number is a lot, no doubt. Because, here's a secret you don't know ... Stockton is home to some of the wealthiest people, too. They just prefer to keep their wealth a secret and live in tucked away neighborhoods, like Atherton Cove and Morada, while some others can be found in the security guarded gated neighborhood of Brookside, not to be confused with the the other gated neighborhoods of Brookside (which aren't your low income folks, either). There are other well-to-do neighborhoods in Stockton, as well. We have very rich farmers, dairy owners, doctors, lawyers, and families with "old money". As shared, we have a billionaire living in Stockton, and his house is smack in the middle of Stockton. So, if Stockton is so bad, why do these people along with me, decide to still live in Stockton? Hint: everyone has their own "personal" reasons to live where they want to live, whether it be closer to family and friends or maybe just because they are comfortable where they are.
It's sad that Stockton does indeed have much crime and dealing with financial issues as a city. But just because the "city" has its problems, does not mean it's bad for everyone who lives in it. Yes, statistics are going to indicate there is indeed a higher risk that a resident of Stockton will be a victim to a crime. But, you have to wonder still why do all of these people, especially the handful of wealthy residents decide it's okay to live in Stockton. Why is it not bad for them? Instead, you are just too ignorant to understand. Oh well.
I am very much aware of Folsom hosting a ton of upper-middle income folks. My cousin lives in Folsom. He was subjected to walking away from one of his properties to having to move back into his original house in Folsom he was renting out. He, fortunately, does not fall into the "snob" stereotype of Folsom, and that's good for him. Unfortunately, you do, with your continuous berating of Stockton. And that's your problem, not mine. So, please continue being a "pompous" a-hole. You are doing a GREAT job of it! Obviously, your mother is very proud of you.
BTW, so other than Joseph Gamsky, aka
Joe Hunt, of the Billionaire's Boys Club, who from Folsom is a billionaire? I couldn't find any
here. I'm curious.
